Bread, Bar & a Brittany Spaniel

Katie & Matthew are getting hitched next month and I CAN NOT WAIT to party it up with these two – but first, let’s rewind. 

A few years ago, Katie and Matt each arrived to a local restaurant, Bread + Bar. They sat at a high top by the window, where conversation flowed effortlessly for hours and eventually, they closed the place down. 

Their second date came with an invitation for Caesar, Katie’s brittany spaniel to join them for a walk at the dunes. 

Of course, when I heard the tale of them first falling in love, I couldn’t help but ask to take them back to Bread + Bar. To make it more serendipitous, we were able to document some of their photos right by their first table. The rest, just across the street and by Lake Michigan again with the goodest boy *ever*, Caesar. 

Now that this love has come full circle, it’s time to get y’all married 🤍
